On December 13 local time, the first autoclave—a core piece of equipment weighing over 1,100 tons—was successfully installed for the KNI high-pressure acid leaching (HPAL) hydrometallurgical project at Huayou Indonesia's Pomalaa Industrial Park (IPIP). The installation ceremony was witnessed by representatives from IPIP, investor Vale, Ford Motor Company, and other relevant parties. As the heart of the hydrometallurgical system, the successful installation of the autoclave marks a critical breakthrough in the project's construction, bringing it one solid step closer to its planned operational goals.
