On November 5, Alfian Aditia and Bernadus J.S. Kambaly, Indonesian employees in the casting workshop of Huake Plant at the Weda Bay Pyrometallurgical Project Base, discovered severe loosening of the casting machine’s running wheel components during an inspection. They immediately reported the issue and set up a warning area, effectively preventing equipment damage and potential casualties. The base highly commended the two, awarded them with bonuses, and recognized them as safety role models. All employees were urged to enhance their awareness of hazard identification to collectively strengthen the safety production line.
