On March 15, Huafei Nickel & Cobalt (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. held a tree-planting event beside the artificial lake within the company’s premises, under the theme “Greening Huafei, Building a Low-Carbon Future.” More than 50 employee representatives took part in the activity.

The company selected Leucaena leucocephala, a local drought-resistant tree species, aiming to enhance the ecological function and biodiversity of the lake area through scientific planting methods. Participants worked in teams, carefully completing each step of the planting process. According to the ESG Department, the event reflects Huafei’s commitment to building an eco-friendly industrial park. At the end of the activity, all participants recited an environmental protection pledge and took a group photo, reaffirming their dedication to sustainable living.
