On May 25 at the "First Global Enterprises Summit on High-Quality Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Cooperation" in Jakarta, Huayou Cobalt joined hands with the UN Global Compact and 18 other institutions to launch the China-Indonesia Community Sustainable Development Action Network. The network will focus on education, healthcare, and employment, with initial pilot programs implemented in communities surrounding Huayou's Indonesia industrial parks.
Gao Baojun, Senior Vice President of Huayou Cobalt, stated the initiative will promote local sustainable livelihood solutions through resource integration and community participatory development models. During the launch ceremony, Chinese and Indonesian representatives jointly illuminated a symbolic collaboration light installation, marking the official commencement of this multilateral platform that contributes practical wisdom to high-quality BRI development.
