Throughout March, Huayou Indonesia launched a series of activities to celebrate Eid al-Fitr across its project sites, reflecting its deep respect for local culture and strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.
At the Wet Process Base in Weda Bay, a themed event titled “Celebrating Eid Together” brought together 90 participants for a joyful gathering.
Huayue held a community iftar dinner in collaboration with the local mosque, welcoming 150 attendees and featuring a special lecture by a religious scholar who shared insights into the spirit of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the IPIP project launched the “Ramadan Care Program,” donating 740 packages of essential goods to local authorities and six surrounding villages — a gesture that was highly praised by the local government.
Huayou Indonesia consistently demonstrates respect for religious practices and local customs. Each project site is equipped with mosques and prayer rooms, and flexible working hours as well as energy supplements are provided during Ramadan.By integrating local culture and actively engaging in social responsibility, Huayou continues to promote cultural exchange between China and Indonesia, fostering a harmonious and inclusive development environment.
