1 . Monitor and manage chemical risks related to nickel smelting processes (e.g., sulfuric acid leaching, gas emissions. slag handling).

2. Develop, implement, and update chemical hygiene plans and process safety programs in compliance with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and local environmental and labor laws.

3. Investigate chemical incidents, spills, or worker exposures; lead root cause analyses and corrective/preventive action plans (CAPA).

4. Train employees on chemical hazard communication, PPE. and safe operating procedures related to smelter operations.

5. Collaborate with process engineers, maintenance, and operations teams to improve safety in process modifications or new installations.

6. Support emergency preparedness and response programs. including chemical spill response and fire

safety drills.

Syarat Pekerjaan :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in OHS, specifically in chemical safety within the smelting or chemical manufacturing industry.

3. Must hold a Certified Chemical OHS Expert (Ahli K3 Kimia) certification from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI).

4. Strong understanding of OHS regulations. Technical expertise in: Chemical Safety – IdentiWing.

5. assessing, and controlling chemical hazards Training and Safety Awareness – Conducting safety training and promoting chemical hazard awareness.

6. Experience in DPPBB (Major Hazard Control Document) projects is a plus.

7. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with workers. management. and regulatory bodies in implementing chemical safety standards.

8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve chemical safety issues using a systematic, data-driven approach.
