On September 6, 2024, the establishment ceremony of the Indonesia Battery Ecosystem Association (Id Battery) was held at the Jakarta Convention Center, during which Huayou officially became a board member of the association. Six companies from the new energy industry chain, including IBC, ABC, CATL, Gotion, Huayou, and Puqing, as well as research partners NBRI and Pijar Foundation, jointly participated in and witnessed the establishment of Id Battery.

Hu Zaiwei, the Chief Representative of Huayou Indonesia, attended the Id Battery founding ceremony and stated, “We congratulate the establishment of Id Battery. As a member of the battery materials industry, Huayou has the utmost confidence in the formation of this association. It will facilitate communication between all parties in the battery industry, including battery industry professionals, the government, and the community, accelerating the development of Indonesia’s Electric Vehicle Industry Chain Ecosystem. We hope that the involvement from Huayou will help achieve the goals set forth by the association's establishment.”
