On April 20th, Chen Xuehua, Chairman of Huayou Cobalt, went to the Indonesia Pomala Industrial Park (IPIP) for inspection and guidance. The construction at the park site was in full swing, presenting a situation of vigorous development. As the first enterprise to enter IPIP, the KNI project was invested and constructed jointly by Huayou, Vale, and Ford Motor Company. It is planned to produce 120,000 tons of nickel metal annually and is expected to go into production by the end of 2026, which has attracted high attention from the Indonesian government.

Chairman Chen listened to the work reports on park operation, project construction, etc., and put forward important guiding opinions. From planning to comprehensive commencement, the IPIP park has demonstrated Huayou's strength and determination in building overseas resource bases. The park team overcame numerous difficulties and steadily promoted the construction, laying a solid foundation for Huayou's global strategic layout.
