On August 1, the inaugural batch of the Metallurgical Engineering Master's program jointly developed by Huayou Cobalt, the Indonesian Government, and Northeastern University held its graduation ceremony at the Huafei facility. Twenty-six Indonesian participants officially received their Master's degrees from Northeastern University and will be deployed across various Huayou industrial sites in Indonesia. The three-year program represents a significant achievement in government-industry-academia collaboration, supplying the first cohort of high-level local engineering talent for Indonesia's mineral downstreaming strategy. Representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia and the three partner institutions attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
