At the recent United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) held in Belém, Brazil, Huayou Cobalt was invited to attend as a representative of Indonesia’s green and low-carbon enterprises, becoming a highlight of the Indonesia Pavilion. Through CEO dialogues and thematic discussions, the company showcased its innovative practices in Indonesia—from applying environmentally friendly hydrometallurgy and long-distance slurry pipeline transport to advancing CO₂ solidification and waste-heat power generation. These technologies have significantly reduced carbon emissions across the industrial chain.Huayou also emphasized the importance of harmonious coexistence with local communities, fulfilling its sustainability commitments through concrete actions such as job creation, educational support, and mangrove planting. Its participation at COP30 underscores Huayou’s determination and achievements as a leader in the new-energy supply chain, driving green and low-carbon transformation and contributing to global climate resilience.
