On August 22, PT Huayue Nickel-Cobalt provided agricultural assistance to farmers in Limbomakmur Village, Bumiraya District, Morowali Regency. Through collaboration between the Maintenance Department, ESG Department, and other departments, a farmers' shelter was constructed using steel materials. This shelter provides a temporary resting place for farmers and provides them with shelter on rainy days.

The 12-square-meter farmers' shelter was built on land owned by Mr. Sutikno and Ms. Suwarsih. This reduces the need for them to return home during rest periods, providing them with tangible convenience and increasing their productivity. Mr. Sutikno and Ms. Suwarsih have established a partnership with Huayue and have successfully produced over 200 kilograms of lettuce and cabbage, which supply Huayue’s staff canteen. This is a genuine measure of Huayue’s active implementation of ESG in the local community, enhancing the income of local residents and improving their quality of life.

In the future, Huayue plans to organize training on vegetable cultivation to help improve local crop yields. The company will continue to provide vegetable seeds to farmers who cooperate with Huayue, ensuring the well-being of the farmers while also safeguarding the company's food security.
