In August, the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) announced on its official website that PT Huafei Nickel Cobalt (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. successfully passed the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) audit, becoming the first smelter in Indonesia to obtain RMAP certification for both nickel and cobalt metal supply chains. RMAP is a globally recognized program for responsible mineral sourcing management, and passing the audit signifies international recognition of Huafei’s supply chain compliance. This achievement lays a solid foundation for providing compliant, high-quality products and expanding its presence in the global market. Huafei will continue to follow relevant guidelines of the United Nations and OECD, strengthen its due diligence management system, promote transparent and compliant supply chains, and work together with industry partners to build a green and sustainable supply chain.
