June 5 marks the 53rd World Environment Day, with the United Nations highlighting the theme: “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience,” calling on global efforts to restore degraded ecosystems and tackle growing environmental challenges.
In response, on June 3, Huayue, in collaboration with SLNC and the IMIP Park, visited Labota Elementary School in Morowali Regency to host an environmental education event themed “Waste Sorting · Green Awareness.” Volunteers engaged students through fun, interactive activities to introduce the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) concept and donated 10 waste-sorting bins to the school. School principal Siti Alvia expressed her gratitude, noting that the company had helped spark environmental awareness among the children. The event also included the distribution of healthy snack packs, making sustainability education both meaningful and enjoyable in everyday life.
